The “Father of the Snowmobile”, Joseph-Armand Bombardier, is the founder of Canada’s Bombardier and Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP). DUring the 1980s, Bombardier made a name for themselves in the motorcycle racing circuit with Can-Am motorcycles but even with Can-Am’s massive race-winning success, BRP could not justify their existence and Can-Am was shut down in 1987. Ten years later, BRP returned to off-road racing using what they’d learned with Can-Am and created their first ATV prototype called the Traxter. The Traxter was a recognized and award-winning design and in 2000, BRP made their first sport ATV, the DS 650. The BRP DS 650 and the Traxter lines evolved into DS 650 Baja, Quest 500, Quest 650, and Quest 650 XT but it was the 2006 Outlander 800 that was Bombardier’s most groundbreaking innovation. The Outlander 800 took victories in the legendary Dakar Rally and earned the 2006 GNCC Racing Series Championship. It was then that Bombardier Recreational Products resurrected the Can-Am name and all following ATV models were built and branded as Can-Am ATVs. If you ride or own an Can-Am ATV, trust HQ Powersports to be your source for OEM-spec aftermarket replacement parts such as Can-Am carburetors. Carburetors are relatively easy to maintain, but they still do have their share of faults and failures. If you’ve already attempted to repair or rebuild a carburetor yourself, you may be in need of a full carburetor replacement unit. HQ Powersports is an online retailer that specializes in brand new, aftermarket replacement parts for ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes, motorcycles, quads, and other powersports vehicles for the road, off-road, and for the water. We have a dedicated assortment of aftermarket, OEM quality replacement carburetors that fit vintage and late-model 4-wheel all-terrain recreational vehicles from the most popular names in ATVs and UTVs including Honda, Arctic Cat, Bombardier, Can-Am, Polaris, Aeon, Tomberlin, and more.
